Santa Claus is beginning to arrive at local area malls and attractions. Here’s a round up of where to see the jolly man!
Shippensburg
The eight annual Santa Breakfast at Memorial Lutheran Church (34 E. Orange St., Shippensburg) will be held from 8 am – 11 am Saturday, Dec. 5. It is FREE to the community. The menu will include pancakes, sausage, fruit cocktail, coffee, fruit punch, milk, and cookies. Door prizes, craft & activities. Reservations are encouraged. West End Fire & Rescue Company, 49 Lurgan Ave, Shippensburg is holding their Breakfast with Santa on Saturday, December 12th from 9 am – 11 am. Menu includes pancakes, sausage, fruit salad, juice, chocolate milk, and coffee. Door prizes, craft & activities. Advance tickets are available at The Hair Cottage Salon or by contacting Samantha White at 717-658-9388. Cost $5 Adults; $3 Children (Ages 3 – 11); 2 and under free.

Santa will be stopping by Southampton Cumberland Twp. for milk and cookies on Saturday Dec. 12th at 3pm. Come out and meet Santa and watch holiday Movies. Kids can write letters to Santa and also get their picture taken with him. FREE event. Location: 56 Cleversburg Rd. (The Multi-Purpose Building).

Tiny World is open for the Holiday season. Tiny World, 6720 Rice Rd consists of miniature houses that are each decorated inside. Admission is free, but donations are accepted. Santa will be visiting on Saturday, December 12th 6 p.m & Saturday, December 19th 6 p.m.

The Shippensburg Area Chamber of Commerce with Christ Among Neighbors (C.A.N.) and King’s Kettle are hosting the 4th Annual Community Christmas Party on Thursday, Dec. 17, at the Shippensburg Firefighters Activity Center at 33 W. Orange St. from 6 to 8:30 pm! This FREE event will include food, storytime, games and a visit from Santa complete with gifts for all children. Please provide genders and ages of the children attending in addition to how many adults will be accompanying them.

On December 19th from 10 am – noon, you can have Cupcakes with Santa at D’Lish Bakery, 17 Shippensburg Shopping Center. Stop in to visit with Santa and stay to have some FREE hot cocoa and cupcakes!

Greenvillage Drive-In Resturant will be having a Santa Breakfast on Saturday, December 19th from 8 am-10:45 am!
Carlisle
Santa will arrive on Friday, December 4th at 6 pm to formally bring the Christmas season to Carlisle. Arriving in a secret “sleigh” Santa will be joining community leaders, parents, and children for the lighting of the downtown Christmas tree. Santa will then be on hand from 6 pm to 8 pm for free pictures sponsored by Revelation Photography. Pictures can be downloaded or a print made and sent to the family with a commemorative downtown Carlisle Christmas card. Santa will be on-site next to the Old Courthouse on Friday, December 4th from 6 pm – 8 pm, and Saturday, December 5th from 12 pm to 4 pm for free pictures from Revelation Photography.

The Downtown Carlisle Association and Bosler Memorial Library invite you to Doughnuts with Santa. Enjoy Saturday morning doughnuts, coffee and juice with Santa at the Bosler Library from 9 am – 11 am on Saturday, December 5th. Parents are welcome to take photos. No registration necessary. Santa will be visiting Cornerstone Federal Credit Union, 5 Eastgate Drive, Carlisle on Friday, December 18 from 4 pm to 6 pm.
Newburg
Breakfast with Santa will be held Saturday, December 12th from 8 am – 10 am. The event is held at the Hopewell Township building on Three Square Hollow Road. Adults $8; Children 6 – 12 $3; under 5 free. An auction will be held at 9am.
Newville
On Saturday, December 12th a Breakfast with Santa will be held at the Upper Frankford Fire Company, 4080 Enola Road in Bloserville. Breakfast is from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Santa will be arriving at 9:30 a.m. There is no cost, however donations are appreciated.
Pleasant Hall
Breakfast with Santa will be held at the Pleasant Hall Volunteer Fire Company , 9722 Cumberland Highway on Saturday, December 19 8 am – 10 am. $4 adults, kids 12 and under free. No reservations needed.
Greencastle

Chambersburg
M&S Harley-Davidson, 16 Falling Spring Rd, will have a Santa Photo Shoot on December 5 from 10 am – 3 pm. Donate an unwrapped toy and have your photo taken by LA Cameras. Santa will be on his Harley-Davidson motorcycle.

Amvets Post 224 Ladies Auxiliary will host Lunch with Santa on December 12th from 11 am – 1 pm. Tickets are $5 (Ages 2 & Under $2). Includes: Hot dog, Chips, Cookie, Drink and a gift from Santa. The Santa Express Train Ride will be held on Saturday, December 5th from 1:00 until 3:00 at Red Run Park in Rouzerville. Free train rides for all ages. Meet Santa, Rudolph, Frosty and the Christmas elves. Refreshments available in the train station.
Fayetteville
Fayetteville Volunteer Fire Department is hosting a Breakfast with Santa on Saturday, December 12th. Breakfast will be served starting at 7 am. Santa arrives at 8:00 am. This event will be held in the social building behind the fire station, 101 W. Main Street, Fayetteville. Adults $5; Children under 10 free.
Orrtanna
Mister Ed’s Elephant Museum and Candy Emporium hosts its annual Santa Claus arrival celebration on Sunday, Nov. 29, from 2-4 p.m. Children can meet and have their picture taken with Santa, and each child will receive a $5 gift certificate to redeem at Mister Ed’s before Dec. 31. Mister Ed’s is halfway between Gettysburg and Chambersburg along the historic Lincoln Highway (Route 30) at 6019 Chambersburg Road, Orrtanna.
