Hagerstown Regional Airport | FREE Young Eagle Plane Rides
UPDATE: Unfortunately, Young Eagle flights are cancelled for this event (September 28th) due to the lack of aircraft available. However, breakfast will still be held.
The Young Eagles program has introduced more than a million and a half youth to flying over the past 20 years. The mission of the EAA Young Eagles Program is to provide a meaningful flight experience – free of charge – in a general aviation aircraft to ages 8 and 17 .
The Hagerstown Regional Airport will host a Breakfast and Lunch Fly-in, Drive-in on Saturday, September 28, 2019. There will be Young Eagle plane rides, free to ages 8-17, 8:30AM – Noon. The free Young Eagle Rides are First Come, First Flown and will be held weather permitting. Flights last approximately 15 minutes and involve a aerial tour of the local area.
The all you can eat breakfast will be held from 8AM – 10:30AM and includes hotcakes, eggs, sausage, coffee and orange juice. The price is adults $7, children 6-12 $5, 5 and under eat for free.
Parents/Legal Guardians must be present to approve their youth to fly and sign the required paperwork. Preregister for flights at: www.youngeaglesday.org
