Open Airplane Afternoon at Hagerstown Regional Airport | May 1, 2016
Hagerstown Regional Airport (HGR) and the Hagerstown Aviation Museum present a behind-the-scenes look at Hagerstown-built aircraft during Open Airplane Afternoon on Sunday, May 1st 1PM – 4 PM. This is a chance for aviation enthusiasts to visit aircraft that are part of the Hagerstown Aviation Museum‘s collection. Admission is free but donations are accepted.
Museum merchandise, books, DVDs and hats will be available for purchase. By making a $100 donation to the Hagerstown Aviation Museum, you can experience open cockpit flying, weather permitting.
Event location: Hagerstown Regional Airport Terminal 18434 Showalter Rd, Hagerstown, MD 21742. Park in the terminal parking lot. Follow signs. Gate is located to the rear of the firehouse.
The airport also hosts Fly-ins with the EAA Chapter 36 each month and ages 8-17 can fly under the Young Eagles Program for free.
