Rural Life Festival | July 9, 2016

Spend a day in the past at the annual Rural Life Festival in Newburg on Saturday, July 9th.  The Rural Life Festival is presented by Newburg United Methodist Church, 203 North High Street, Newburg (3 miles from exit 201 of the PA Turnpike).

Admission and parking are FREE for the event, which is held from 9 AM – 3 PM rain or shine. Highlights include Antique Farm Machinery, Working Steam Engine, Grain Thrashing, Horse Drawn Binder, Scrapple Making, Fresh Apple Cider, Grain to Loaf Bread Baking, Children’s Pedal Tractor Pull, Horse Wagon Rides, Barrel Train, Children’s Activities, Petting Zoo, Potato raising, Cow Milking, Butter Making, Sheep Shearing, Spinning & Weaving, Quilting, Broom Making, Blacksmith, Wood Working!

Food available to purchase include Homemade soups, Chicken Bar-B-Q, Ice Cream, Hand cut French Fries, Sandwiches & more!
