Columbus Day Fun for Kids | October 10

Columbus Day became a federal holiday in 1937 and for many children it means NO SCHOOL!  Here are a few suggestions if you are looking to get out and about.

Monday, October 10th is Fire Prevention Kids Day at the Chambersburg Mall. See firetrucks and talk to firefighters.  Enjoy the bounce house and lunch for $5.

 

This coming Monday, Oct 10th, Red Bridge Roller Rink is having a No School Skate.  It runs from 1 PM – 4 PM.  Admission is $4 and skates are $3. Special Games. Free Popcorn. No Free Passes please.

The Annual Fall Festival at Reynolds Farm includes hayrides and pick your own pumpkins.  Over 27 activities are included with your admission, including viewing zoo, playgrounds, mega slides, wagon rides, mazes, games, and more.  They are OPEN on Columbus Day.  Hayrides start at 1 PM.  Admission Price is $6.95.
