Local Cut-Your-Own Christmas Tree Farms

Tis the season to look for a Christmas Tree!  Here is a list of the Christmas Tree farms in our area.  Most farms will be opening the day after Thanksgiving.

CHAMBERSBURG

Heckman Tree Farm is opening Friday, November 25 from 9 AM – 5 PM.  Take a free wagon ride to the fields to choose and cut your own tree.  They also offer fresh pre-cut trees inside their barn as well as balled and burlapped live trees.  A selection of fresh wreaths will be available in the barn.  Cash or checks only (no credit cards).  After opening day:  Thursday/Friday 12 Noon to 5 PM; Saturday/Sunday 9 AM to 5 PM (Closed Monday thru Wednesday)  Heckman Tree Farm is located at 7279 Smith Road, Chambersburg.

NEWVILLE

Conaway’s Pine Haven Farm is a family owned and operated pine tree farm which offers Christmas and balled and burlapped live trees for sale.  Pine Haven, 1765 Pine Road, Newville opens Friday, November 25, 2016.  They offer wagon rides to and from the fields.  Pine Haven is open seven days a week from Friday after Thanksgiving to Christmas Eve.  Monday – Thursday 10 AM – 7 PM;  Friday 10 AM – 8 PM; Saturday 8 AM – 8 PM; Sunday 8 AM – 7 PM.

Myers Tree Farm is outside of Newville at 675 Mohawk Road. Pick out your own tree and then come inside for some wreaths and other holiday decorations!  Open 9 AM – 5 PM daily through December 22, 2016.

WILLOW HILL

Since 1956 Elliott’s Christmas Tree Farm and Nursery has been serving the communities of Path Valley and beyond.  They open for the season on November 25th.  Monday – Saturday 8 AM – 6 PM and Sunday 9 AM – 5 PM.

WAYNESBORO

Kauffman Family Christmas tree farm has choose and cut trees in their fields.  They also have fresh cut trees.  Please park in the parking lot and walk back through the fields – no vehicles (except for handicap people or with permission).  Kauffman Family Christmas Tree Farm is located at Wharf Road, Waynesboro.  November Hours: Friday November 25: 9 AM – 5 PM; Saturday November 26: 9 AM 5 PM; Sunday November 27: 10 AM – 5 PM December Hours:  Every Thursday 1 PM – 5 PM  Every Friday 1 PM – 5 PM  Every Saturday 9 AM – 5 PM Every Sunday 10 AM – 5 PM
