Shippensburg
Seussical is coming to Luhrs this Sunday, January 22. The Cat in the Hat is the host and emcee (and all-around mischief-maker) in this romp through the Seuss classics. All tickets are $15. Two performances 1 PM and 4 PM. This program is approximately one hour in length and is appropriate for audiences in grades K-5.
The Jones Baseball Academy at Shippensburg University will be hosting a baseball winter camp on Sundays beginning January 22, 2017. All camps are taught at Heiges Fieldhouse by SU’s coaching staff and players. January 22 (Ages 6 – 12): Youth All Skills Camp, 12-3pm $50 Read more here.

Pinola Pantry, 1430 Rowe Road, Shippensburg is a “country store” with bulk foods, cheese and deli meats, gluten free, organic and many more specialty items.
Roxbury
The Blue Mountain Skating Rink is located 1 mile west of Roxbury, PA on Rt 641. The roller skating rink is open for public skating on Friday evenings from 7-9 PM Admission is only $4 and skate rentals are $1. Kids 6 and under are FREE and non-skating adults are FREE.
Chambersburg
Bring the kids to the Chambersburg Mall on January 20, 21 or 22 to bounce and have some fun! AE Bounce House Rentals will have their inflatables set up at the mall. $8 child. Walk-in and bring your kids to play at any time during the dates and operating hours. Hours: Friday 5 PM – 8 PM; Saturdays Noon – 7 PM; Sunday Noon – 5 PM.
Royer’s Kids Club is having another free event on Saturday, January 21, 2017 in all stores. Children ages 5 to 12 will have an opportunity to make a special “Be Mine, Valentine!” arrangement, featuring a teacup with a heart on it and a red wire stick-in heart. Participants also will receive a free balloon. Time slots are available at 10 AM and 2 PM. Registration is required by calling your nearest Royer’s store.
Carlisle

Greencastle
Green Grove Gardens is teaming up with Phantom Shadow Entertainment for a Glow Takeover event the last three weekends in January! Activities include laser tag, black light mini golf, dancing, games, a black light photo booth, face paint, and more. The price is $12 for all ages. There are additional fees for photo booth strips, face paint, food and drinks. The Glow Takeover event will take place at Green Grove Gardens inside the Grand Barn at 1032 Buchanan Trail East, Greencastle. DATES: January 13 – 15, 20 – 22, 27-29 Fridays 6PM – 12AM Saturdays 4PM – 12AM Sundays 4PM – 10PM. You may buy tickets in advance online ($1.65 additional fee) or at the door.
Hanover
Codorus State Park Winter Festival takes place January 21 10 AM – 2 PM. Join the Friends of Codorus for Ice carving, horse-drawn wagon rides and a dip in the lake. DJ and food vendors will be on hand. Other activities include a children’s craft tent, frozen bologna toss and obstacle course for kids. Free parking, Free admission.
Hershey
ZooAmerica’s free Community Weekend is January 21 & 22, 2017. Admission is FREE to everyone visiting that weekend from 10 AM – 4:30 PM on both days. You may park FREE in the Zoo’s parking lot. There is also free parking at the parking garage on Chocolate Avenue and a tunnel for you to safely travel under the road to the zoo. ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park is a walk thru 11 acre zoo adjacent to Hersheypark in Hershey, PA. They have more than 200 animals from five regions of North America.
