The Maryland Zoo is open daily from early March through December and select days in January and February. The Maryland Zoo is located less than 10 minutes from Baltimore’s Downtown Inner Harbor. The Zoo’s animal collection encompasses more than 1,500 birds, mammals, amphibians and reptiles, representing nearly 200 species. Animals are displayed in natural settings replicating their native habitats.
