Children’s Fair at Shippensburg University | April 1, 2017
All area children are invited to the Annual Children’s Fair on Saturday, April 1, from 10 AM to 2 PM, in Heiges Field House at Shippensburg University. The annual event, sponsored by the Career and Community Engagement Center, helps foster a positive relationship between the university and off-campus communities.
This year’s event will feature bounce houses, games, craft stations and free eye screenings for children. Admission, crafts and activities are free. Games require 25-cent tickets. T-Shirts will be available for purchase for $3.
Entertainment will be provided by a German band, Heritage Dance Company, Little Princess Playhouse, Shippensburg Area Middle School Sixth Grade Jazz Band and Tillie the Clown.
Participating organizations include Chambersburg Evening Lions Club, Kappa Delta Pi Honors Society, Delta Zeta, Order of Omega, Cub Scout Pack 121, Lamda Ki Alpha, Alpha Sigma Tau, Drew Michael Taylor Foundation, Mom’s Club and Girls Scouts in the Heart of PA.
The event is made possible by donations from Target, Shippensburg University’s Student Government and Phantom Shadow.
