North Square Farmers Market Opens Saturday, May 27
North Square Farmers Market is kicking off the 2017 season this Saturday! The Market is open from 8AM to Noon on Saturday mornings until October 21.
This weekend’s Opening Day festivities include a ribbon cutting at 9:30AM, live music by Jo’ Blues, and a free kids’ activity by Voila! Children’s Arts and Creativity Center from 9AM to 11AM.
You’ll find local produce, local cheeses, fresh-cut flowers, baked goods, handmade soaps and body products, locally roasted coffee and specialty foods like gourmet popcorn. Food vendors will have breakfast and lunch items available.
Kids aged 3 -12 can sign up for POP (Power Of Produce) Club! POP Members receive $2 in tokens per market visit to be used on fresh fruits and vegetables. Membership in POP Club is free.
SNAP/Access card users can Double their Dollars! Receive ten dollars when using an Access card to spend ten dollars on eligible food items.
