Fall Furnace Fest at Pine Grove Furnace State Park

Bring your family to the annual Fall Furnace Fest at Pine Grove Furnace State Park. The 2018 Fall Furnace Festival is Saturday, October 20, 11AM – 7PM and Sunday, October 21 11AM – 4PM. There is no charge to enter the Park or the Festival and most activities are free!
The event features food and craft vendors, live musical entertainment, historical demonstrations, free hayrides, Smokey Bear, pumpkin carving, scarecrow making, candle dipping, and kid’s crafts.
The famous Hairy Hand and Pumpkin Float will return Saturday evening, October 20. The pumpkin parade is at 6:15PM followed the Hairy Hand Legend at 7PM on Fuller Lake beach. The legend will be told and the raft of glowing pumpkins will be set afloat on the lake to keep the hairy hand away.
Pine Grove Furnace State Park is located at 1100 Pine Grove Road, Gardners. The rain or shine event is held in the Furnace Stack and Fuller Lake Day Use Areas.
