Fashion Archives and Museum’s “The Fine Art of Tea” | November 9
The Fashion Archives and Museum of Shippensburg University is inviting the community to “The Fine Art of Tea.” The event features the “Tea Lady,” Judy Larkin, on November 9 at 2PM. Her lecture, “The Fine Art of Tea,” will explore the current exhibit “Through the Lens of the Beholder: The Fine Art of Fashion,” which features garments and accessories from the 1830s through today, including items by famous designers such as Chanel, Fath, Scaasi, and Dior.
Guests are encouraged to wear vintage items and hats from their own wardrobes.
Larkin is one of only a handful of people in the world who have earned the title “certified tea specialist” from the Tea Association of the USA.
Registration is required. The $32.50 fee to attend includes full afternoon tea and the exhibit. Please contact fasharch@ship.edu or call (717) 477-1239 with any further questions.
