Hagerstown Aviation Museum’s Open Airplane Afternoon | October 1
Hagerstown Regional Airport and the Hagerstown Aviation Museum will be offering a behind-the-scenes look at Hagerstown-built aircraft during Open Airplane Afternoon, Sunday October 1 from 1PM–4PM at Hagerstown Regional Airport.
Bring the family out to the Hagerstown Regional Airport to climb aboard and sit in the cockpit of the historic Fairchild C-82 and C-119 Flying Boxcars and PT-26 WWII trainer aircraft. This Open Airplane Afternoon will also feature a historic 1940s Douglas DC-3 airliner that you are invited to walk through.
FREE admission (donations accepted). Museum merchandise, books, DVDs, hats, toys for sale. Free museum aircraft collection poster for all guests.
By making a $100 donation, you can experience the thrill of open cockpit flying. The museum plans to have rides available after 1PM, weather permitting. The rain or shine event takes place at Hagerstown Regional Airport, 18434 Showalter Rd, Hagerstown, MD 21742.
