Tiny World will be decorated and lighted for the holidays beginning November 24 at 5PM. Tiny World, 6720 Rice Road, Shippensburg is a miniature village whose buildings are landscaped, lighted and furnished. Over 20 buildings including a general store, train station, firehouse and houses are decorated for Christmas.

Chambersburg
On Small Business Saturday, Downtown Chambersburg Inc. is giving away $2,000 in Downtown Dollars to shoppers who present a receipt for $25 or more dated November 25, 2017 from a Downtown Chambersburg business. The first 161 shoppers who present a receipt beginning at 10AM at the Courthouse Plaza will receive a giveaway of $10, $25 or $100 in Downtown Dollars (can be used just like cash at participating downtown merchants).
Craft Shows, Holiday Bazaars, and Open Houses
The 19th Annual Air Hill Craft Show and Bake Sale will be Saturday, November 25 from 8AM – 2PM! Over 40 Vendors. Door Prizes. Baked Goods.
The Holiday Craft & Fine Art Show takes place annually the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Now in its 9th year, the show houses more than 100 vendors and sells only handmade items. Catering is provided by Flinchy’s, bake sale for take home goodies, and bring the kids out for pictures with Santa from 11AM- 1PM. Visit the show on Saturday November 25 between 9AM-4PM, at the Carlisle Expo Center, 100 K Street, Carlisle. Free admission and free parking.
The Drying Shed is having its Holiday Open House Friday, November 24 & 25 and December 1 & 2 (Fridays 10 – 7 and Saturdays 10 – 4). The Drying Shed, 1587 Newcomer Rd, Chambersburg is a dried flower farm and greenhouse. Choose from a selection of fresh evergreen wreaths, swags, basket arrangements and bunches. Also, find a variety of bows, candles, grapevine and ribbon.
Vintage Market at the Old Red Barn on Warm Spring Road, Chambersburg is having a Holiday Open House on Saturday, November 25. Fun extras include Food, Holiday music, and Santa from 2PM-4PM.
Ongoing Christmas Events & Attractions
The Outlet Shoppes at Gettysburg offers FREE Carriage Rides on Fridays & Saturdays, November 24 – December 23 from 5PM-8PM each night.
Hersheypark Christmas Candylane is now open with select dates until January 1, 2018. Admission to Candylane is regularly $24.85 for ages 3 and up. Children ages 2 and younger are FREE. More than 50 rides are open, including 6 coasters, a choreographed light show, festive live entertainment, and more. Santa and his 9 reindeer make a stop in Hershey too! Giant sells discounted tickets.
Santa’s Wonderland is at Bass Pro Shops, 3501 Paxton Street, Harrisburg. There are free crafts, games, and activities. Please refer to the website for specific times.
Whitaker Center’s Holiday Winter Wonderland exhibit is open. Whitaker Wonderland offers indoor winter fun for the whole family. Take a few laps around the sock skate rink, check out the snowball pit, and take the Cranky Cars for a spin! Included with standard Science Center admission. Find the Holiday Film Series at the Whitaker Center schedule on their website. The Whitaker Center for Science and the Arts is located at 222 Market Street, Harrisburg.
Save on Admission to Dutch Winterland Wonderland! Celebrate the magic of the season at Dutch Winter Wonderland with rides, entertainment, and the Royal Light Show, a spectacular display of thousands of twinkling lights dancing to music. Open select weekends and weekdays in November and December.
ZooLights at the Smithsonian’s National Zoo in Washington, DC is a holiday event transforming the zoo into a winter wonderland. Lights will illuminate the Zoo’s trees, walkways and buildings. The annual lights festival twinkles for 36 nights—from November 24 through January 1, 2018 (except Dec. 24, 25 and 31) from 5PM to 9PM.
