Shippensburg High School Drama Club to present “The Music Man”
The Spring musical at The Shippensburg Area Senior High School is “The Music Man.” The performances are scheduled for March 8 & 9 at 7PM and March 10 at 2PM and 7PM.
Meredith Wilson’s “The Music Man” follows fast-taking traveling salesman, Harold Hill, as he cons the people of River City, Iowa, into buying instruments and uniforms for a boys’ band that he vows to organize, despite the fact that he doesn’t know a trombone from a treble clef. His plans to skip town with the cash are foiled when he falls for Marian, the librarian, who transforms him into a respectable citizen by curtain’s fall.
Ticket prices are $10 Adult ($11.34 with service fee), $8 Student/Senior ($9.27 with service fee), Children 4 and under are free. Tickets will go on sale online HERE February 3.
