Saturday, April 7 ENOLA
Mechanicsburg Sportsman’s Association (493 Sample Bridge Road, Enola) is hosting a Children’s Fish Derby on Saturday, April 7, 2018 for children ages 4 – 14. Registration starts at 8AM. Fishing from 9AM – 1PM. This is a free event and open to the public.
Saturday, April 7 ROXBURY
Roxbury Camp’s Kids Trout Derby is Saturday, April 7, 2018. Registration starts at 10AM with the Derby from Noon – 3PM. Kids ages 12 and under are invited to fish – prizes will be awarded.
Saturday, April 21 NEWVILLE
The 17th annual Kid’s Fishing Derby at Green Spring Brethren in Christ Church, 720 Greenspring Road, Newville will be held Saturday, April 21 from 8AM – Noon. The event is open to children ages 3-15. All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Registration begins at 7AM on Derby Day. Fishing starts promptly at 8AM. FREE FISHING – Door Prizes – Food Stand!

A Kids Trout Fishing Rodeo by Experience Life Outdoors is Saturday, April 21, 2018. $7/child (must pre-register). Registration includes: T-Shirt, Breakfast or Lunch Sandwich & drink, Fish Frying Station, Raffle Prizes every 15 minutes, Fish Fillet Station, Bouncy House, and Face Painting. Sign in starts at 7AM. Location: Farm Boys Lawn Care, 10748 Wayne Highway.

The WaynesboroFest’s Fishing Rodeo at Red Run Park is April 21. Registration for this free kid’s event will begin at 9AM and go until 9:45AM. The Fishing Rodeo will run from 10AM until Noon. There will be three age groups: Ages 3-5, Ages 6-9, Ages 10-13. Contestants must supply their own fishing rod/reel, tackle and bait. Parents may assist their child, but they are not permitted to fish. Limit of 5 trout.

Join The Redneck Outlaws Inc. for their 5th annual trout derby brought to you by No One Fights Alone Cancer Benefit Inc. The event will be held Sunday, April 22, 2018 starting at 8AM. Kids Fish Only (age limit is 16) for the rest of the day at The Beaver Farm, 10748 Wayne Highway, Waynesboro. 3 Fish Limit.

Shippensburg Fly Fishing Club is hosting their 2018 Children’s Fishing Derby on April 28, 8AM – Noon at Rowe Run Creek in Orrstown. If using a GPS, enter 9713 Rowe Run Road, Shippensburg PA 17257. Registration starts at 7AM. All Children ages 3 – 12 are welcome to participate in this free event.

On Saturday, April 28, 7AM – 11AM is a Children’s Trout Derby at Mt Holly Fish & Game Pond for children 3-12 years of age. Parents are not required to have a license or trout stamp while assisting children. Pond will be stocked by Mt. Holly Lions Club & Mt. Holly Fish and Game Association with 300+ trout. Admission is free. Refreshments available. Rain or shine!

The Dickinson Township Annual Fishing Derby has been scheduled for May 12, 2018 from 8AM to Noon. Children ages 3 to 12 will enjoy food, fun and prizes! The fishing derby takes place at Stuart Park on Pine Road at the Barnitz Mill. FREE admission.

Barnitz United Methodist Church is having their 3rd annual Children’s Fishing Derby on Saturday, June 9, 2018. Registration 6 – 8AM. Fishing start time 8AM. Ages 1 – 12. The church is situated on the banks of the Yellow Breeches Creek On Church Lane (off Pine Rd). This is a free event. Food available for purchase.
