Free Embassy Tours in Washington, DC During Passport DC
Experience the World by visiting Washington DC during the first two Saturdays in May. You can step inside a foreign embassy with the Around the World Embassy Tour and the EU Open House.

The Around the World Embassy Tour is the signature event of Passport DC, an annual celebration of international culture in Washington DC. More than 40 embassies are expected to open their doors on May 5. From 10AM – 4PM, participants can travel the world as they experience the food, art, dance, fashion, and music of different countries. In the days leading up to the event, Cultural Tourism DC will release a full list of participating embassies and a map.

The European Union Open House will be May 12. From Ireland and Italy to Spain and Slovakia, all 28 EU member states participate in this citywide open house experience.
Both of Passport DC’s embassy open house experiences are FREE! Many embassies require a photo ID for admission.
