Kings Gap | Plant Sale & Spring Garden Days
Join the Friends of Kings Gap for a Plant Sale on Saturday, May 12, from 10AM to 4PM and Sunday, May 13 from Noon to 4PM.
This plant sale includes native plants (perennials, ferns, shrubs, and trees), and a few “naturalized” favorites. Edible trees, shrubs and perennials will also be available.
Garden Days will feature Garden Tours, programs on Butterfly Gardening and Bee Basics, Free Kids activities, and more! A food stand will be serving homemade soup, hot dogs, snacks and drinks.
This year Perennial Gardens Nursery will again be featured, with their Native and edible trees, shrubs, and perennials. The Happy Beekeeper will be available on Saturday only for Honey and other bee products.
The sale is at Kings Gap Environmental Education Center, 500 Kings Gap Road, Carlisle.
All proceeds benefit The Friends of Kings Gap. The Friends of Kings Gap is a non-profit organization of dedicated volunteers working to support, protect, and enhance Kings Gap State Park and its programs.
