Carlisle Barracks Oktoberfest opens Thursday
Enjoy the traditional German salute to Fall with a fun twist at the Carlisle Barracks Oktoberfest October 4, 5, 6, & 7.
Carlisle Ocktoberfest at the Army Heritage and Education Center is a four-day, family-oriented event. The event features carnival rides, games, a soccer match, entertainment, food, beer garden, local wine, contests, and arts & crafts. The event is hosted by the Carlisle Barracks and is open to the public.
There will be a wide selection of adult and kiddie rides, carnival foods, free standing games & game trailers. A single person wristband for unlimited games costs $18 on Thursday and Friday, $22 on Saturday, and $20 on Sunday.
Festivities run from 4PM to 9PM Thursday and Friday, 11AM to 9PM Saturday and 11AM to 7PM Sunday.
Admission and parking are free. The event will be held rain or shine.
The Army Heritage and Education Center is located at 950 Soldiers Drive, Carlisle.
