Shippensburg
This Friday, November 9, sample Holiday Favorites at Weis from 4PM – 7PM. Sample holiday picks around the store in the bakery, meat, seafood, deli and produce departments. Sample seltzers, teas and lemonades as well. You can also view holiday floral creations and gift baskets.
Katie’s Place Thrift Shop is open Thursday – Friday – Saturday, November 8 – 10. The thrift shop is located at 130 S. Penn Street, Shippensburg. Store hours are 8AM – Noon.
A Christmas Craft Fair will be held at The Beistle Company on November 10 from 8AM – 1PM. 65+ unique crafters will have Food, Baked Goods, Floral Arrangements, Seasonal Decor, Wood Crafts and more. West End Fire & Rescue will serve made to order food. The Beistle Company Annual Craft Fair will be held indoors at 1 Beistle Plaza, Shippensburg.
Honor our military veterans by attending the annual Shippensburg Veterans Day Parade Sunday, Nov. 11, beginning at 2PM. The Parade is organized by the Joint Veterans Council of Shippensburg. For the parade lineup, go HERE.
Walnut Bottom
The 20th annual Country Christmas Craft Show will be held on Saturday, November 10 from 8AM until 2PM at Trinity Fellowship Center, 110 West Main Street, (Walnut Bottom Road, Rt. 174) in the village of Walnut Bottom. Lots of handmade crafts and huge menu for breakfast and lunch. Plenty of parking too! Chambersburg/Fayetteville/Scotland
Franklin County 4-H Therapeutic Riding Center will open its doors to the public during its annual Healing for the Holidays event. This year, the event will be on Saturday, November 10, 2018 from 10AM – 3PM. Children will enjoy rides from the program’s horses, face painting, games, and photos with Santa. There will be a bake sale too. This is a free event, donations are accepted. Franklin County 4-H Therapeutic Riding Center is located at 181 Franklin Farm Lane, Chambersburg.
The final Royer’s Kids Club event for the year will honor the service of U.S. Military Veterans. Children ages 5 to 12 will have an opportunity to make a patriotic arrangement, featuring red and blue carnations and an American Flag. As the price of admission, please bring a new children’s book for “Bouquets for Books” to benefit area public libraries. Time slots are available at 10AM and 2PM at each of Royer’s Flowers stores in Berks, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Lancaster, Lebanon and York counties. Registration is required by calling or stopping by the nearest Royer’s store.
Join the CASHS Drama Club for “Songs for a New World” on Friday, November 9, at 7:30PM & Saturday, November 10, at 2:30PM and 7:30PM. Tickets: Adults, $8; Students, $5 (activity pass $2). Tickets sold at the door.
Shalom Christian Academy’s Torn Curtain presents “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz” on November 9, 7PM and November 10, 2PM & 7PM. The event will be at Christian Life Church, 1400 Warm Spring Rd, Chambersburg. Tickets are $6 a person and can be purchased at the door or online here.
Snavely’s is hosting their annual Night of Lights on Friday, November 9. The gift shop will be transformed into a winter wonderland with dozens of lighted themed trees, wreaths, garland, & decor. Enjoy live music, light refreshments, and plenty of Christmas cheer. Their open house weekend continues November 10 & 11.
I Heart Handmade Market craft show will be held Saturday, November 10. This is not your average craft show! All beautiful and unique locally handcrafted items. Some of the fresh, fun and funky items represented this year include pottery, car accessories, bath and body items, candles, doll clothes, knitted hats and scarves, jewelry and food. The craft show is being held at Kauffman Community Center, 7289 Ruritan Drive, Chambersburg from 8AM – 2PM.
Christmas Craft Fair at Antrim Brethren in Christ Church is Saturday, November 10 from 8AM – 3PM. Food, Pottery, Weaving, Quiltings, Crafts, Teas, Herbs, Candles, Soaps, Antiques and Primitives, Floral, Holiday Cards, Antique Silver Wind Chimes, Long’s Doughnuts, Children’s Book Reading by “Puppy Girl.”
Calvary United Methodist Church, 150 Norlo Dr, Fayetteville will have its Annual Holiday Bazaar on November 9 & 10 from 9AM – 2PM. Christmas decorations, gift baskets, knitted and crocheted items, pies, cakes, candy, soups & sandwiches available.
Scotland United Methodist Church is having its Annual Holiday Arts & Crafts Fair at 4040 Main Street, Scotland on November 10 at 9AM – 2PM. Handmade crafts from local artists, jewelry, vintage, primitive, essential oils, bath & body, baked goods, and more.
Greencastle
Greencastle-Antrim Lioness Club’s Annual Fall and Christmas Bazaar is Saturday, November 10 from 9AM – 3PM at Blue Heron Events. Craft vendors, bake sale, raffle items, lunch stand, and brooms.
Mechanicsburg
Ashcombe Farms 2018 holiday open houses are November 9 & 10. Great gifts and decor items will be around every corner! Browse the gift shop, gourmet foods, greenhouse, and local vendors. See the flyer HERE.
Harrisburg
Santa’s Wonderland event kicks off with Santa’s Arrival at Bass Pro Shops on November 10 at 5PM! This year Santa will be welcomed in a very special way. Bigger & better than ever with special escorts, joyous carolers and exciting performers. Free cookies and hot chocolate available. Wonderland will be opened at 6PM and Santa will be available for free photos. Crafts and activities will also begin at 6PM. Gift cards will be awarded beginning at 6PM. No Bass Pass will be needed for this kickoff event.

Participating locations will encourage kids, ages 4 to 9, to come try youth hockey as part of Come Play Hockey Month. Limited equipment available for use and you must pre-register.
