Celebrate the cold and enjoy an upcoming Ice Festival!
Chambersburg
January 31 – February 3, 2019
The 17th annual IceFest in Downtown Chambersburg is scheduled for January 31 – February 3, 2019. The four-day festival presented by M&T Bank will feature over 80 custom designed ice sculptures. LED Lights will be on the double-wide ice slide and all giant sculptures.
Events include the official ribbon-cutting ceremony, live carvings, Snowfall Ball, Chili Cook-off, Polar Dunk Plunge, live glass blowing demonstrations, Icing on the Cake, ice slide, and Run Your Ice Off 5K.
Carlisle
February 8 – 10, 2019
Downtown Carlisle Association’s Ice Art Fest on February 8-10, 2019 is sponsored by UPMC Pinnacle. Over 70 ice sculptures are placed around downtown Carlisle for visitors viewing and picture taking pleasure. In addition, showcase sculptures will include an Ice Throne located at the Square and a working Ice Bar sponsored and located at Comfort Suites patio.
The Ice Art Festival combines many events and activities in one weekend including the PNC Chili Cook-Off, free movie, meet & greets with the Snow Queen and Snow Princess, blacksmiths, and more. For the first time, the festival will offer an opportunity to honor a loved one with the Ice Art Fest Memorial Sculpture.
