Land of Little Horses, A “Mini” Excursion

The Land of Little Horses in Adams County is a popular day trip destination for families. The large petting zoo-style farm with a performance show and mini western town play area is open seven days a week from 10 AM until 5 PM through Labor Day, September 2. After Labor Day, they will be open Saturdays and Sundays through October 30.
At Land of Little Horses, you will find miniature horses (some in stables and some roaming the grounds), ponies, horses, a camel, alpacas, goats, peacocks, pigs, and more! You can interact with most animals by feeding, petting, grooming, and even bottle feeding the goats and calves (select times). The performance show “The Main Event“ is at 11:30 AM and 3:30 PM. Visit Western Town to see the saloon, general store, jail, chapel, and blacksmith shop.
