How to Make Two-ingredient Ice Cream Bread
Ice Cream Bread is a dense quick bread using only 2 ingredients – melted ice cream and self-rising flour. I first found a recipe for Ice Cream Bread on the Taste of Home website HERE.
Ice Cream Recipe
1 cup of your favorite ice cream, softened
3/4 cup self rising flour
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. In a small bowl, combine the ice cream and flour. Transfer to a mini loaf pan coated with cooking spray. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pan to a wire rack.
Note: Use full-fat ice cream, low-fat and no-sugar versions do not work well.
Over the course of the last several months, my daughter has been successful at making the following Weis Quality Ice Cream flavors: Pistachio, Choco Chip, Butter Pecan, and Vanilla Bean. Weis Quality Ice Cream is regularly priced at $2.99. If you buy 2 or more, pay just $2.37!
