2019 Halloween Parades in Cumberland & Franklin Counties

Halloween Parade

MECHANICSBURG:  Tuesday, Oct. 8 at 7PM.

The two-mile parade will set up on Broad and Keller Streets and proceed East on to Keller, North on Arch Street, West on Simpson Street, and South on George Street. The parade will disband at the rear of the High School.

BOILING SPRINGS:  Thursday, Oct. 17 at 7PM.

The Boiling Springs Halloween Parade is sponsored by the Boiling Springs VFW #8851.  The parade forms at the east end of the high school parking lot at 6:30PM. The route will start in front of the Iron Forge Education Center and then down High Street before turning left onto Route 174 to Walnut Street. From Walnut Street, the parade will turn left onto Third Street and on toward Front Street.

SHIPPENSBURG:  Saturday, Oct. 19 at 7PM.

The annual Shippensburg Halloween parade will march down King Street on Saturday, October 19 at 7PM. The parade, which is organized by the Shippensburg Kids Events Committee, features area businesses, nonprofits, marching bands, student sports teams, Girl and Boy scout troops, first responders, and costumed community members.  The registration form is pictured below if you are interested in participating (deadline Oct. 11).

CARLISLE:  Monday, Oct. 21 at 7PM.

Register at the Stuart Community Center through October 18.  Parade Route – West on E. North Street to Hanover Street; south on Hanover Street to Willow Street; east on Willow Street where parade disbands.

CAMP HILL:  Tuesday, Oct. 22 at 6PM.

Parade begins on Market Street (in front of Trinity Lutheran Church), goes west to North 24th Street, to Walnut Street, ending at borough hall. There will be activities and refreshments in the borough building for children after the parade.

MT. HOLLY SPRINGS:  Wednesday, Oct. 23 at 7PM.

Registration begins at Mt. Holly Springs Elementary School on Mooreland Avenue at 5:30PM, and all contestants must be registered by 6:30PM.  The 1 mile parade route will follow West Pine Street, North Baltimore Avenue, Butler Street and finish up at Mooreland Avenue where it began.

GREENCASTLE: Friday, Oct. 25 at 7PM.

The annual Greencastle Halloween Parade is organized by the Greencastle Exchange Club.

NEWVILLE:  Monday, Oct. 28 at 7PM.

The annual Newville Halloween Parade will form on Broad Street beginning at 6PM. Cash prizes will be awarded in a variety of categories. There will be no preregistration for this event. Contestants may register on the night of the parade.

MERCERSBURG:  Monday, Oct. 28 at 7PM.

Parade application can be found in The Merchant.  Rain Date is Tuesday, Oct. 29.
