Pa. Governor’s Residence | Holiday Open House
Tour the beautiful decor of the Governor’s Residence attending the annual Holiday Open House! The residence at 2035 North Front Street in Harrisburg will be open to the public for tours from 1PM – 6PM on December 8, 2019. This is a free event and no reservations are required.
Every year the first-floor rooms are decorated by different teams of designers as well as some residence staff. Enjoy multiple musical performances in the Grand Hall and State Dining Room throughout the afternoon. Light refreshments, including hot cocoa, warm apple cider, and holiday cookies will be served, and Santa will make a special appearance.
Parking is available along North 2nd Street and in a Commonwealth-owned lot located at the corner of North 2nd Street and Maclay Street (diagonal from the Sunoco gas station). Visitors should enter the Residence on foot at the North 2nd Street gate.
During the 2019 holiday season the Governor’s Residence will also be open for self-guided, public tours Monday through Friday December 9-20 from 10AM until 2PM.
