Scoop-a-Palooza 2020 | Ice Cream Trail, Celebrity Sundae, Coloring Contest
Scoop-A-Palooza, the Greater Chambersburg Chamber Foundation’s yearly ice cream festival, has traditionally been held at Chambersburg Area Senior High School on the second Saturday in July. Due to the COVID-19, the event has moved to a virtual platform. This year travel the Ice Cream Trail to win prizes, watch live on Facebook as a human Celebrity Sundae is built, and have your children participate in a coloring contest!
Scoop-A-Palooza runs July 1-31 during National Ice Cream Month with weekly/monthly gift card prize drawings worth over $1500.
How to Play & Win Prizes
STEP #1 Download the Ice Cream Trail Map (view electronically or print)
STEP #2 Plan your Ice Cream Adventure
Visit one or all of the participating Scoop ice cream vendors during the month of July and buy a treat – milkshakes, banana splits, lollipops, cones, shakes, Italian ice, etc.
STEP #3 Enter to win prizes
- OPTION 1: Take a picture of your treat, check-in at the ice cream location, and post on the Scoop-a-Palooza Facebook page. Virtual entries will be put into weekly drawings.
- OPTION 2: Visit as many places on the Scoop Trail as you like – record the unique “Scoop Word” posted at their site. Submit your Scoop map by mail to Scoop Prizes, 100 LWE Suite A, Chambersburg, PA 17201, to be entered into the final monthly drawing. (must be postmarked by 8/7/2020)
