Open Airplane Afternoon | July 19, 2020

On July 19, Hagerstown Regional Airport and Hagerstown Aviation Museum are hosting an Open Airplane Afternoon. Bring the family out to the Hagerstown Regional Airport on Sunday from 11 AM to 4 PM to climb aboard the Fairchild C-82, C-119 Flying Boxcar, and PT-26 Trainer. There will be exhibits and other museum aircraft. The museum owns twenty-three historic aircraft, sixteen of which were built in Hagerstown. These historic aircraft are monuments to the men and women who made, flew, and maintained them in times of war and peace.
Free admission and free parking. Follow signs. Donations are welcome. By making a $150 donation, you can experience the thrill of open cockpit flying. The museum plans to have rides available after 11 AM, weather permitting.

The Hagerstown Aviation Museum, Inc. is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the Hagerstown, Maryland regions more than 100 years of extraordinary aviation history. At this time museum aircraft are available to the public only during museum events.
