Koppenhaver Trail | Pine Grove Furnace State Park

Koppenhaver Trail is a 1.25-mile scenic trail through Pine Grove Furnace State Park near Gardners, Pennsylvania. The wooded trail is an excellent family-friendly hike as it is mostly flat and follows a creek. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

To hike the Koppenhaver trail, start at the park’s Fuller Lake area.  To find the trailhead, you will follow the paved/gravel trail behind the Fuller Lake bathhouse. On the left is a large open grassy area. The trailhead is in the middle of the tree line parallel to the gravel path. There is a wooden sign at the entrance to the bridge. Follow the yellow-blazed trail in a loop.
