Shippensburg Fair Food Weekend | July 23 – 25
Save the Date! A Shippensburg Fair Food Weekend is planned for July 23, July 24, and July 25.
In May, the Shippensburg Community Fair Board released that this year’s fair, scheduled to be held July 20-25, and was canceled due to COVID-19. At a recent Borough Council meeting, mayor Kathy Coy announced she had asked Shippensburg community-based non-profit organization, Downtown Organizations Investing Together (D.O.I.T), to organize a Fair Food Weekend.
The Shippensburg Fair features homemade food prepared by local non-profit organizations that rely on the funding obtained through food sales at the fair.
- Newburg-Hopewell Volunteer Fire Co. (Pickup Location: Shippensburg Fairgrounds, Food Stand)
Menu: Blooming Onion, Italian Sausage (Sweet, Hot, Smoked), Bacon Cheddar Jalapeno Sausage, Chicken Cheesesteak, Pulled BBQ Chicken Sandwich, Popcorn Chicken, Loaded Fries, Pretzel Braids, Drinks
- Cumberland Valley Hose Company (Pickup Location: 20 Walnut Bottom Road, Shippensburg, PA 17257)
Menu (July 25th ONLY): Pints or Quarts of Ox Roast and Chicken Corn Soup
- Redemption BBQ (Pickup Location: 13 South Earl St, Shippensburg, PA 17257)
Menu: Jumbo Quarter Chicken meal with smoked mac and cheese and coleslaw
- The Wheel House Cafe (Pickup Location: 300 N Earl Street, Shippensburg, PA 17257)
Menu: Ham and Cheese Hoagie, Big Boy Hoagie
- Shippensburg Soccer Booster Club (Pickup Location: Shippensburg Fairgrounds, Soccer Booster Stand)
Menu: Beef Pot Pie, Pulled Pork, Whole Pies, Whole Chocolate Cake with PB icing, Cinnamon Rolls, Sticky Buns, Whoopie Pies
Pickup times will be Thursday, July 23, and Friday, July 24, 3 PM to 7 PM, and Saturday, July 25, from 11 AM to 4 PM.
Preorders for Friday July 24 must be submitted by 4pm
Preorders for Saturday July 25 must be submitted by 1pm
Walk ins are welcome while supplies last!
