Benchfield Farms’ Family Fall Fest
Benchfield Farms in Newville is hosting Family Fall Fest this month. Bring the family out to enjoy fall fun on a farm! The family fall fest includes horse-drawn wagon rides around the farm, a petting zoo, scavenger hunt, photo stations, family fun games, a corn pit, and saddle bale. Admission is $5 a person for ages four and over (ages three and under are free). You may also purchase food, drinks, pumpkins, mums, apples, apple cider, and crafts from vendors.
The event will be held on six dates:
Saturdays: October 10, October 17 (Kettle Corn Soup Sale), and October 31 (Halloween Costume Contest) – 10 AM – 5 PM
Sundays: October 11, October 18, and October 25 – 11 AM – 5 PM
On October 31, there will also be a Halloween Costume event with prizes in the following age groups and categories:
- Age Groups: 5 and under, 6 – 12 yrs, and 13 years and older
- Categories: Scariest, Cutest, Funnies, and Most Creative, Best Duo/Trio, and Best Group/Family
Benchfield Farms is located at 368 Gameland Road, Newville, PA, and has North American Spotted Draft Horses for breeding, showing, exhibitions, carriage, and wagon rides.
