Newville Lions Club Fair | July 7-10, 2021 | NEWVILLE
The 2021 Newville Lions Club Community Fair will be held on 4 evenings – July 7, July 8, July 9, and July 10. Enjoy good food, pageants, games, rides, fireworks (July 9), and entertainment. Saturday, July 10 is the tractor/truck pull. The Newville Lions Fairgrounds is located on Route 533 at 433 Shippensburg Road. Free admission every night.
Greencastle Sidewalk Days | July 9 – 10, 2021 | GREENCASTLE
Sidewalk Days takes place on Friday, July 9, and Saturday, July 10 in and around Greencastle Square. The annual Greencastle Sidewalk Days feature sales at downtown stores, street-side vendors, community groups, food, Kids’ Zone, and entertainment. There is ample parking on the side streets, at the Jerome King Playground, and in the Borough Parking lot. Hours: Friday, July 9 from 10 AM to 8 PM and Saturday, July 10 from 9 AM to 4 PM.
Rural Life Festival | July 10, 2021 | NEWBURG
The Rural Life Festival provides a window into Pennsylvania’s past. The event is presented by Newburg United Methodist Church and will be held Saturday, July 10, at 203 N. High St., Newburg. The day is a fun and educational experience for the whole family. Admission and parking are free. Visitors will see various demonstrations, displays, old-time activities and enjoy homemade food. Blueberry Festival | June 10 – 11, 2021 | BIGLERVILLE
Hollabaugh Farms is celebrating with a Blueberry Festival on July 10 and July 11. The event features fresh blueberries and samples, homemade blueberry baked goods, blueberry ice cream, special deals on produce, Pick-Your-Own Blueberries, and a fun kids’ activity. This year’s live music will be from Fidler & McCauslin Duo from 1 PM – 4 PM on Saturday and FlipSide from 1 PM – 4 PM on Sunday. Pick your own blueberries will also be available, and guided wagon rides of the farm are available for purchase. Strawberry Hill will be bringing some of their animal ambassadors on Sunday from 2 – 3 PM.
Franklin County Fair | July 11-17, 2021 | CHAMBERSBURG
The Franklin County Fair will be held July 11-17 at the Chambersburg Rod and Gun Club at 3725 Warm Spring Road. Admission to the county fair will be free in 2021, with a $5-per-vehicle parking fee from 4 – 9 PM Monday – Thursday and 3 – 9 PM Friday and Saturday. Events and attractions at the fair include tractor pulls, Barnyard Olympics, Bull Ride Mania, Shane the balloon guy & magician, children’s attractions, live entertainment, animals, and more. Chrysler Nationals | July 9-11, 2021 | CARLISLE
Carlisle Chrysler Nationals is July 9 – July 11 at Carlisle Fairgrounds, 1000 Bryn Mawr Road. The event features 2,800 vehicles from all eras of the Chrysler brand, including classics, muscle cars and high-performance new models. Cars, parts, tools, memorabilia, collectibles, and more will be for sale in the Mopar Automotive Flea Market, as well as the latest and greatest products within the Manufacturers Midway.
Scoop-A-Palooza | July 1 – 31, 2021 | CHAMBERSBURG
This year, Scoop-A-Palooza is an Ice Cream Trail with more than 20 stops throughout the greater Franklin County area. Scoop-A-Palooza is part of the annual Chambersfest Celebration. The ice cream adventure trail is open July 1 – 31, 2021 with a chance to win over $2,300 in prizes. Enter via social media or by sending your map in at end of the month.
Meadowbrooke Gourds’ Summer Celebration | July 17, 2021 | CARLISLE
Meadowbrooke Gourds’ Summer Celebration will be held Saturday, July 17, from 10 AM – 8 PM. Activities include the Oops Sale, Trevor’s Trolley ($5), Artisans and Crafts, Food Trucks, Beer, Wine, and local classic rock band Mid-Life Crisis. Bring your lawn chairs (live music). Not all venues take credit cards, so bring some cash along.
Old Market Day | July 17 , 2021 | CHAMBERSBURG
On Saturday, July 17 is Old Market Day. The annual street festival with arts, crafts, and food vendors runs from 9 AM to 4 PM in downtown Chambersburg.
After Old Market Day is the Burning of Chambersburg reenactment. Activities begin at 7PM with the final round of a musical competition, A Cappella & Unplugged, followed by the reenactment of the Burning of Chambersburg with incredible light and atmospheric effects at dusk.
Blueberry Festival | July 17, 2021 | DILLSBURG
The Blueberry Festival at Paulus Orchards on July 17, 7 AM – 1 PM, benefits Ecumenical Food Pantry in Harrisburg. Come for the Pancake Breakfast (7-11 AM) and stay through the day for over 60 arts and crafts booths, pick-your-own berries, the Jazz Me Band (9:30 AM-12:30 PM)! Upper Frankford Township Fire Company’s Annual Fireman’s Fair | July 22 – 24, 2021 | NEWVILLE
Upper Frankford Township Fire Co. has its annual fair Thursday through Saturday, July 22, 23, & 24. Enjoy activities including Kiddyland, inflatables, games, and on-stage live entertainment nightly.
Old-Fashioned CornFest | July 25, 2021 | BIGLERVILLE
The annual Old-Fashioned CornFest at the Historic Round Barn will occur on Sunday, July 25 from 11:30 AM – 4 PM. You will find all your traditional CornFest favorites, sweet corn roasted in the husk over an apple-wood fire, pulled pork made from a secret family recipe, BBQ Chicken, and delicious peaches grilled to perfection and placed on a mound of ice cream. This annual event will also feature live music by Chuck Darwin & The Knuckle Draggers starting at Noon and free activities for the children.
Shippensburg Fair | July 26 – 31, 2021 | SHIPPENSBURG
The Shippensburg Fair will be held July 26–July 31. The fair features homemade food prepared by local non-profit organizations, entertainment, livestock displays and competitions, home products exhibits, tractor pulls, horse shows, a craft show, and many rides and games! Wristband (unlimited rides) is $30. Rides open at 6 PM Monday through Thursday. Kiddies’ Day on Wednesday and Saturday allows all ages to ride from 10:30 AM-5 PM at a discount (all rides are 1 ticket per ride). South Mountain Fair | July 27 – 31, 2021 | BIGLERVILLE
The annual South Mountain Fair takes place July 27 – July 31 in Arendtsville. Enjoy rides for the kids, farm animals, exhibits, and food! See the entire schedule HERE. The admission price is $7. Children under 36 inches tall are free. Unlimited carnival rides are included in the admission price! Children under 36″ tall ride for free. All entertainment is also included in the admission.
