Drop The Anchor
On Friday, December 31, 2021, bring the family to downtown Shippensburg for the annual Drop the Anchor event. The event is presented by the Shippensburg Revitalization Group and Downtown Organizations Investing Together (D.O.I.T).
The activities will kick off around 9 PM on New Year’s Eve on Earl Street (between the “Square” and Orange Street). This is a free event! There will be inflatables for all ages by Phantom Entertainment. There will be a climbing rock wall, basketball free throws, mechanical bull, Gladiator joust, skee ball, and bungee run. The music is provided by DJ Donovan Yaukey.
The anchor will be dropped at midnight, and 2022 will be officially welcomed.
