Ice skating comes to IceFest 2022
A new opportunity is coming to downtown Chambersburg’s IceFest 2022. A synthetic ice skating rink will be assembled at 35 N. Main Street Chambersburg during IceFest, January 27 – January 30.
Tickets are available now online (via Eventbrite) and at the event. Admission is $5 for six years and older (plus $1.94 Eventbrite Fee). Five years and younger are free. Admission includes skates. Sessions are 30 minutes long.
The hours for the ice rink are Thursday, January 27, 5 PM to 8 PM; Friday, January 28, 5 PM to 8 PM; Saturday, January 29, 10 AM to 8 PM; and Sunday, January 30, 12 PM to 4 PM.
The rink is made possible by the gold sponsor, F&M Trust, and the Bronze sponsors, Patriot Federal Credit Union and UPMC.
About IceFest22:
In downtown Chambersburg, the annual IceFest presented by M&T Bank is scheduled for January 27-30, 2022. Activities and events will take place along Main Street, or just off of it. It will feature over 80 custom-designed ice sculptures. LED lights will be on the double-wide slide and all giant ice sculptures. In addition, there will be food vendors on the square. On Saturday, Main Street will be closed to vehicular traffic. Activities this year include the Ice Slide, Snowfall Ball, Chili Cook-Off, Icing on the Cake, 5K Run & Kid’s Zone, Scavenger Hunt, live Ice Carvings, Corn Hole Tournament, and more!
