Springtime Washington D.C. Bus Trip from Shippensburg
The cherry blossom trees are the stars of springtime in Washington, D.C. In 2022, be a part of this springtime celebration with a “Day on Your Own” bus trip to Washington, D.C.!
Shippensburg Township Cumberland County’s (STCC) Park and Recreation have coordinated a trip to our nation’s capital on Saturday, April 9, 2022. The bus trip is open to everyone, no matter where you reside. This day trip coincides with the National Cherry Blossom Festival Parade on Constitution Avenue. If the cherry blossoms do not appeal to you, D.C. has plenty of other attractions. You can make your way through the expansive list of monuments and memorials or visit one of the many museums throughout the city, many of which are free!
Buses will depart from STCC Multi-purpose Center at 7 AM and leave for home at 5 PM. The cost is $50 a person.
