Open Farm Day at Roots Cut Flower Farm
Once a year, Roots Cut Flower Farm in Carlisle opens its fields to the public. On Saturday, August 20, 10 AM to 4 PM, you can see the farm at its peak color.
Open Farm Day is free and open to the community! Visitors to the farm may stroll the fields, take photos, buy a bouquet, or go on a tour. Free staff-led tours are offered at 10 AM, 11 AM, 12 PM, and 1 PM.
Roots Cut Flower Farm is not a pick-your-own farm, but they will have pre-made bouquets for sale, plus a make-your-own bouquet bar. They are also going to host a photography contest during Open Farm Day. Photos taken during the event can be posted with the hashtag #rootsflowerfarm, and they will choose the best for a fun prize!
The event will be held rain or shine.
