Citrus Grove Senior Living Community | Shippensburg
Luminest Community Development announced the groundbreaking on their new Shippensburg project, Citrus Grove Senior Living. Luminest, a 501c3 nonprofit, will build a three-story building with 40 affordable residential units for those 62 and older on the 2.294 acres site located on Orange Street (former Thought Lot area). The development consists of 36 one-bedroom and 4 two-bedroom units. One unit is designed for hearing/vision needs.
Citrus Grove has many amenities for seniors; a lobby with a coffee nook, management and supportive services offices, a nurse’s suite for counseling and health screening, a conference room for small groups to meet, a second-floor lounge, and a two-story community room with a large kitchen. In addition, the third floor has a card room/library overlooking the community room and fitness room.
Applications will be available in 2023.
