Model Railroad Open Houses for the 23/24 Holiday Season
Experience the joy of model trains at the Cumberland Valley Model Railroad Club’s Holiday Open Houses!
All train enthusiasts, young and old, are welcome to witness the magic of over 50 model trains, ranging from the tiny T-scale to the impressive G-gauge set.
Admission is free, and donations are appreciated.
Visit the clubhouse at 440 Nelson Street in Chambersburg from Noon to 4 PM on the following dates:
- Sunday, December 10 and December 17
- Saturday, December 23, and December 30
- Sunday, January 7, and January 14
The event will feature ten train gauges with layouts, including Jurassic Park, an Oil refinery, a Lumber Mill, a Working Carnival, and rural Pennsylvania countryside. In addition, young children will enjoy layouts of Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends, a Cartoon train, and a Lego layout.
The open house location is handicap accessible and stroller friendly, and ample free parking is available.
