Sunflower Fields | A Great Place For A Photo Op in Chambersburg

UPDATE:  September 3, 2017  The Sunflowers are in bloom.

Each year Sunflowers are planted in the Chambersburg area by Lesher’s Poultry Farm.  Since then, the fields have become a popular destination for photographers, artists, and flower lovers.

This year, the Sunflowers are planted in the rolling fields along Springview Drive.  Springview Dr. is located off of Falling Spring Rd in Chambersburg.  The sunflowers should be in full bloom the last week of August to early September!

As they start blooming, please remember to pull over safely as you view these flowers.  You are welcome to take photos.

In the past, the sunflowers have been harvested and converted into birdseed.
