Shippensburg’s Christmas Parade & Christmas Market
The holidays are right around the corner.
The Shippensburg Christmas Parade will officially welcome the holiday season and the arrival of Santa Claus. The parade will kick off at 7PM on Friday, November 16, 2018. Sponsored by the Downtown Organizations Investing Together (D.O.I.T), the parade will feature marching bands, school groups, church youth groups, Boy and Girl Scouts, businesses and other organizations with the theme, “Christmas Around the World.”
Lineup will be in the area of the Shippensburg Borough Office on Fayette Street and advance toward King Street and end at Prince Street for the annual Tree-Lighting Ceremony.
After the parade, meet Santa Claus and take a carriage ride (cancelled) at Orrstown Bank (77 E. King St).
New this year, two reindeer from Spruce Run Farm Reindeer will be at the Christmas event!
View the live reindeer at the Christmas Market located at Shippensburg First Church of God Annex at the corner of Prince & King Street. In addition to the reindeer, the Christmas Market will feature local vendors, hot chocolate from around the world, living Nativity, games, live Christmas music, apple cider, cookies & more!
