Traditional Amish Wedding Dinner in Newburg (Canceled)

The Amish Wedding dinner scheduled for the March 21 has been canceled. Organizers have said they do hope to reschedule the dinner at a later date.
On Saturday, March 21, you can sample what a traditional Amish Wedding meal is like!
Newburg Hopewell Volunteer Fire Department is hosting their annual Amish Wedding Meal at Newburg United Methodist Church at 203 N. High Street in Newburg. The meal on March 21 will be prepared and served by members of the Amish community in support of the local fire company.
The menu includes Chicken Filling, Mashed Potatoes & Gravy, Homemade Noodles, Creamed Celery, Peas, Homemade Donuts and Pies.
Cost for the dinner is $12; children 5-10 $6; children 4 and younger eat FREE. No tickets are required, simply “pay at the door.”
If you are in town, stop on out and take in the Amish Wedding Dinner experience. The event starts at 2PM and will go until it is sold out (most likely meal items will begin to get low around 6PM). Come out early!
