Shippensburg Borough: Saturday, October 30, 2021, 6 – 8 PM
The 2021 Fall Newsletter from the Borough of Shippensburg lists Trick or Treat as an upcoming event. Trick or Treat for Shippensburg Borough will be Saturday, October 30, from 6 PM until 8 PM.
Southampton Township, Franklin County: Saturday, October 30, 2021, 6 – 8 PM
Southampton Township, Franklin County’s newsletter indicates its Trick or Treat date will be Saturday, October 30 from 6 PM – 8 PM.
Newburg Borough: Sunday, October 31, 2021, 6 – 8 PM
Trick or Treat in the Borough of Newburg will be on Halloween, October 31, 6 – 8 PM. Make sure you visit the Bus Shelter for a Halloween treat from the Borough of Newburg.
Newville Borough: Thursday, October 28, 2021, 6 – 8 PM
At the regular monthly meeting of the Newville Borough Council on August 3, 2021, a motion was unanimously adopted to set a permanent date for Halloween Trick-or-Treat Night. The event will now be held on the Thursday on or prior to Halloween. The time for the event will be 6 PM to 8 PM, and Newville Borough Police and Auxiliary Police will assist in crossing children at the intersections.
Carlisle Borough: Sunday, October 31, 2021, 6 – 8 PM
The Carlisle Borough Council announced that Trick or Treat Night in the Borough would occur on October 31 every year. The Carlisle Borough will prepare for families to Trick or Treat on the traditional October 31 date and ensure that the Borough has the appropriate public safety precautions, including special fire police, police officers, and other safety resources.

Chambersburg Borough: Sunday, October 31, 2021, 6 – 8 PM
Chambersburg Borough’s official stance on trick or treat policy was announced in 2020. Their policy stated, “It is suggested that families Trick or Treat each year on October 31, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in order to give your friends, neighbors, motorists, and police an idea when to expect extra pedestrians and visitors at their door. Participation and scheduling is entirely up to each family.”
