SASHS Drama Club Presents My Fair Lady | March 10 -12
UPDATE:
Due to the expected snowfall on March 12, the two High School Musical shows for Saturday will be rescheduled to next week on Saturday, March 19 with a matinee show at 2 PM and the evening show at 7 PM.
Shippensburg High School’s Drama Club will present My Fair Lady for its spring production. The performances are scheduled for Thursday and Friday, March 10 & 11 at 7 PM and Saturday, March 12 at 2 PM and 7 PM in the Shippensburg Senior High School auditorium.
The musical follows Eliza Doolittle, a poor Cockney flower girl, as she works with Professor Henry Higgins on her speech to pass as a proper lady in English society in the early 20th Century. It features one of the musical theatre’s greatest scores, with such songs as “Wouldn’t It Be Loverly?,” “With a Little Bit of Luck,” “The Rain in Spain,” “I Could Have Danced All Night,” “On the Street Where You Live,” “Get Me to the Church on Time,” and “I’ve Grown Accustomed to Her Face.”
Ticket prices are $10 Adult, $8 Student/Senior, and free for children under five. You may purchase tickets at the SASHS back lobby on Saturday, March 5, 11:30 AM – 3:30 PM, Wednesday, March 9, 7 PM – 9 PM, or one hour before showtime. Cash or check accepted.
